People can have their goodie-two-shoes role models, but Axl is quite possibly the BEST role model in the fucking world. Don't do what you're told, don't be a sheep, don't follow someone else, be a fucking leader, and don't take shit from anyone.
This is the ref photo [link] I changed the t-shirt because I couldn't draw the Pit Bulls On Crack one... well I could, but it was nearing the end of the drawing and my hand was hurting. Also, in the ref pic, I don't actually know what he's doing with his hands, but it sure does look like he's making a roll-up. They were a bitch to draw! You said about the clean-ness of the drawing... that's cos I do everything with layers. A sketchy layer, then a neat layer. (Sometimes I make a line layer too, but that's mainly for manga and anime.)
I am most proud of his hair too!! I love drawing his hair! Thank you for recognizing it, and thank you for commenting! You also made me very happy!
